An international study, based on a survey of people across 30-countries, has found Prime Minister Narendra Modi as one of the top four global leaders who enjoy a high level of confidence in handling both domestic and international affairs.

A report titled ‘Reflections on a Survey of Global Perceptions of International Leaders and World Powers’ by Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government has marked Modi third on the list, behind German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Chinese President Xi Jinping, while Russian President Vladimir Putin is fourth. The study indicates a massive 87.8 per cent approval for Modi’s development strategy, beating the popularity of other leaders such as US President Barack Obama (who is ranked 20th with 44.8 per cent).
