Six members of a family were injured in a gas cylinder blast in the city on Thursday.
The police said that Sadia lit fire to burn stove when gas cylinder exploded due to leakage of gas which engulfed the house at Ghausai Colony, Shalimar Road.
As a result, Kausar, Tariq, Ajmal, Rimshah, Sadia and Tabassum suffered burn injuries.
On receiving information, ambulances of Rescue 1122 and Edhi Foundation rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Mayo Hospital. Rescue 1122 staffers controlled the fire.
Meanwhile, a ten years old girl Amna died when a roof of an under-construction house collapsed at Shera Kot area.
