Nisar orders crackdown against ‘bigwigs’ operating Capital’s prostitution dens

There are total of 150 prostitution dens operating in the federal capital under the patronage of influential people and police officers, according to a report sent to Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan by Intelligence agencies

Shocked by the large number of prostitution dens the interior minister has given full authority to Islamabad police conduct operations against the prostitution centres.

He has reportedly directed the administration to make a list of people who are backing and supporting prostitution centres and to take appropriate action against them.

However, police officers have sought some time from the interior minister to make an effective crackdown policy.

According to the report, there are 150 prostitution centres in Sector F-6, F-7, F-8, F-10, G-9, G-10 and I-10.

Numeral guest houses involved in this business are reportedly situated right in front of police stations whereas one of the guest houses situated in F-10 is owned by sub-inspector.

In addition, station house officers are involved in the ongoing business in different guest houses and are taking monthly from owners.
