Prime Minister(PM)Mian Nawaz Sharif on Monday inaugurated the renovation and moderanisation program of Islamabad-Lahore M-2 motorway section, private media reported.

Addressing the ceremony, PM vowed that the process of the development of the country can not be obstructed inspite of hurdles created by protesting parties and soon a new era of prosperity will dawn.

He further added that the government will completely overcome outgoing crises at the end of its term by remarkably reducing loadshedding, overcoming gas shortage, eliminating terrorism and a reduction in price hike, while the record of the opposition will show nothing other than protests and sit-ins.

Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid, some members of the Parliament and elders of the areas were also present on the occasion.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan claims that government is enjoying false mandate as the elections of 2013 were rigged. He has, along with other demands, asked for the resignation of PM after initiating a country-wide protest. He has vowed to paralyze the whole country on December 18 as the part of  his plan”C”  if his demands are not accepted.
