The police have arrested 11 outlaws including five car thieves and recovered stolen cars, 10 wine bottles and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Friday.
According to details, Margallah police arrested a car thief identified as Waheed and recovered a car (ZH-693) from him.
Anti-car lifting cell of Islamabad police nabbed Sikandar Hyat and recovered a stolen Corolla car (AVN-775) from him while three other car thieves Khalid, Raj Wali and Zeeshan were also nabbed.
Meanwhile, Shehzad town police arrested six people identified as Habib, Abdul Khaliq, Riaz, Shakoor, Nazeer and Riasat besides recovering three pistols, 43 rounds and 10 wine bottles from them.
Three “professional beggars” were also nabbed during a campaign to curb begging in the city.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
