Young Doctor’s Association (YDA) protested against the termination of their colleagues outside General Hospital on Wednesday blocking the Ferozpur Road resulting in a traffic jam that created severe difficulties for the residents.
According to the protesting doctors, a patient from Faislabad on Tuesday succumbed to death on his way back home and the Punjab government formed an enquiry committee which ordered termination of the MS and DMS.
The doctors protested against the decision of the enquiry committee, saying that they do not accept it since their report is not based on facts.
The doctors said that if their demands are not met they would protest all across Punjab.
