During the raid, which was conducted by the Anti-Extremism Cell (AEC), 13 mobile phones, six police uniforms, six ball bombs, six batteries, three suicide jackets, three hand grenades, three pistols, several government number plates and remote controls were also recovered during the raid.

According to the in-charge of AEC CID Ali Raza, the police encountered the banned outfit members in the factory. However, the men managed to escape.

Karachi, the largest metropolitan city of Pakistan, has long been riddled with targeted killings, gang wars, kidnappings for ransom, extortion and terrorism.
