Pakistan thrashed England by 207 runs in the Blind Cricket World Cup 2014 match played at the YMCA Cricket Ground (Western Province Cricket Club), Cape Town, South Africa. According to information made available here on Sunday, Pakistan, batting first, posted a mammoth total of 446-8 in 40 overs. Opener M Jameel kept thrashing the English bowlers, as he and Akram (96) took away the game from England. They added 204 runs in the third-wicket partnership. Jameel scored brilliant 188 runs off 95 balls with the help of 33 fours and two sixes. Amir Ishfaq scored 60. Luke Sugg claimed two wickets. In reply, England managed to score 239-7 in allotted 40 overs. They lost their first three wickets on mere 21 runs. Mathew Dean resisted with 68 while Justin made 40. Israr Hassan took 2-27.
