All businessmen remained shut to mourn the assassination of JUI-F Sindh chapter general secretary Dr Khalid Mahmood Soomro.
Dr Soomro was gunned down on the wee hours of Saturday in Sukkur. The JUI-F activists led by Moulvi Abdul Qudoos Panhwar took out a large protest rally and held demonstration condemning the killing of their cherished leader. The activists chanted slogans against the rulers and demanded arrest of the criminals involved in the act. The rally marched through all the main thoroughfares and bazaars of this town.
Moulvi Qudoos while addressing the workers said that Dr Soomro had been murdered through a conspiracy and demanded immediate arrest of the killers. He said Larkana had once again lost another brave leader. Traders closed their shops to mourn the death of the noted religious and political leader who spoke very bravely on all major issues confronting Sindh.
