Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz on Thursday announced to establish universities in Karachi and Hyderabad.

Addressing a press conference along with Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad, Malik Riaz said the universities will be named after Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chairman Altaf Hussain.

He said the fee charged from the students will be much less than what they have to pay in state-run universities.

Malik Riaz said the construction of a university would be started in Karachi next month and announced that ‘martyrs’ of MQM will be given plots in Bahria Town.

  1. And all MQM members will be given free scholarship? Such a politically active non-politician. Makes sense after stumbles that Karachi govt laid on his projects, some of which were never materialised, including the underground channel to his Flats and a expressway from Bahria town on highway to Saddar. Lets hope at least now MQM would allow such constructions

  2. Malik Shahib, you are doing great, also please renovate historic naiz stadium hyderabad by upgrading the stadium installing floodlights canopies and fiber chairs there so that glory of 1000 test center will emerge.

  3. Masses are waiting next announcement for a best & high standard engineering University of the world. Nothing else is precious than praying of masses and citizenry.
