PTI chief says Nov 30 will be a decisive day

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan On Wednesday said that he would present evidence of election rigging tomorrow (Friday), file criminal cases against Returning Officers (ROs) and move the Supreme Court (SC).

Recording his statement before an election tribunal at the Punjab Election Commission, Khan requested that the case of PP-147 should not be linked with NA-122 and a decision be announced for PP-147 soon.

He said he has been told by the election tribunal judge that in PP-147, 17,955 vote were found fake out of 31,000 votes while there is no record of 50 polling stations out of 150.

Addressing supporters in Islamabad later in the evening, the PTI chief said that November 30 will be a decisive day when his party will hold a public rally in the federal capital.

However, Khan added that the ‘game’ would not end on November 30 but it will advance further.

The PTI chief claimed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari had jointly conspired to ensure that the chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) would not hold any of them accountable for alleged corruption.

Criticising Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the PTI chairman said that children are dying in famine-hit Thar but Bilawal is holding rallies in Birmingham.

Responding to criticism on his party leader Jahangir Tareen, Khan said that Tareen declared his assets in the National Assembly.

He lamented that 70 per cent of industries in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remained shut due to the ongoing war on terror in the region.
