At least two people were killed and six others injured in firing during a wedding ceremony in Charsadda on Sunday.
Police said the incident took place in Ghazgi area of Charsadda where armed men opened fire at the wedding ceremony of a member of a rival group and fled the scene.
As a result of firing, two people were killed on the spot while six participants of the wedding, including two children, sustained wounds. The injured were rushed to hospital in critical condition.
Police have registered a case against the culprits and started raids for their arrest.
