Blast targets security forces’ vehicle in Quetta, two injured

Two people, including a security man, were injured Friday in a blast that targeted a forces’ vehicle on Quetta’s Sariab road area.

A police official said that militants had planted an IED in a cycle, which was parked on the roadside. The injured persons were rushed to a hospital after the blast which also damaged the security forces’ vehicle.

The intensity of the explosion also smashed the glasses of nearby homes and shops in the vicinity.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

This incident took place a day after militants targeted Bugti Express train in Dasht area which left 12 people injured.
