Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Ameer Sirajul Haq has claimed that a record number of people from across the country would attend the three-day JI Ijtema at Minar e Pakistan and would resolve to struggle for the realisation of the goals before the founding fathers of the country.
Addressing the organisers of the Ijtema at Mansoora on Tuesday, Haq said that the slaves of the west who came to power immediately after the demise of the Quaid e Azam had made the country bankrupt through their misdeeds. The country that had been achieved to serve as a model Islamic state, was driven away from its goal as the corrupt and self-seeking politicians came to power one after the other, he added.
