 PESHAWAR-

Virtually addressing a gathering at Nishtar Hall Peshawar on Tuesday, Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai reiterated to fight for the education of children, a private media channel reported.

Speaking via video link during a ceremony arranged by Mian Rashid Shaheed Foundation (RSF) in her honour at Nishtar Hall Peshawar, Malala stated that women should be given rights as they have been deprived of them for centuries.

Admiring the sacrifices of Awami National Party (ANP) leader Mian Iftikhar, she stated that his son was martyred for not leaving the right way.

RSF is a welfare organisation named after the slain son of Mian Iftikhar Hussain, former information minister and leader of Awami National Party (ANP). It was formally launched in 2013 with the aim to promote education, health, human rights, financial aid to the underprivileged and promotion of culture.
