PESHAWAR-
Military airstrikes in Tirah Valley of Khyber Agency killed at least six suspected militants, including a key commander on Tuesday, reported private media.
According to details, airstrikes targeted suspected militant sanctuaries in Malikdin Khel area of Tirah, killing six terror suspects and injuring several others.
Identity of the alleged key militant commander is yet to be ascertained.
The report has not be verified by military sources.
In October, military launched ‘Khyber-One’ operation in the agency; one of the seven autonomous tribal areas bordering Afghanistan to wipe out militants from Lashkar-e-Islam and other terror outfits.
