The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) public meeting in Birmingham was cancelled on Saturday due to security reasons after Kashmiri outfits in Britain raised ‘Go Bilawal Go’ and ‘Go Majeed Go’ slogans outside the meeting venue, a news channel reported.

PPP took a month of preparations for holding the meeting at New Bingley Hall, Birmingham but the administration stopped them from holding the event after the protests. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and his father, PPP Co-Chairman Asif Zardari were scheduled to speak on the occasion.

Holding a press conference after the cancellation of the event, PPP leader Faryal Talpur, who is the sister of Asif Zardari, said that the party will protest for not being allowed to hold the meeting.
