There are no words to describe the sad state of lawlessness in Punjab epitomised by the recent event of burning to death of helpless victims of minority community in a kiln, by calling people through a mosque’s loudspeaker for inflicting untold cruelties. This is not the first case when a mosque’s loudspeaker has been used to collect people for manslaughter. This shows that the misuse of a mosque’s loudspeaker as an instrument of dastardly crime needs a ban. This incident has placed Pakistan in the worst possible light of ignominy in the world.
This shows the collapse of human values among the owners of kilns in Punjab. The Chief Minister Punjab frets and fumes in his speeches against political opponents but has failed miserably to prevent such barbarity even in this day and age.
