Two people died and around 17 other passengers sustained injuries on Wednesday when their bus fell into a nullah near Manga Mandi bypass in the city.
According to the police and rescue officials, the bus with around 20 passengers fell into the nullah after the driver lost vehicle’s control.
The rescue teams later shifted the injured to Jinnah Hospital.
The driver absconded but the police have detained the bus conductor for further investigation.
