The 971th annual “ghusal ceremony” of the shrine of Hazrat Ali-bin-Usman Alhajveri, popularly known as Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA), was held on Monday.
Data Darbar Religious Affairs Committee and Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was chief guest of the ceremony.
The ceremony kicked off with recitation of the Holy Quran and different Naat Khwans also praised the Prophet (PBUH).
Later, “ghusal” of the shrine was performed with rose water and wreaths were laid on the shrine.
Special prayers were offered for peace, stability and prosperity of the country.
Provincial Food Minister Bilal Yaseen, Auquaf and Religious Affairs Minister Atta Manika and others were also present on the occasion.
