Eight people were injured as a passenger bus collided with a tree on a roadside Saturday.
The police said that the accident took place near Attari Hazari Chowk in Jhang where a speeding passenger bus skidded off road while trying to overtake another vehicle and hit a tree by roadside.
In the aftermath, eight passengers sustained wounds, and were shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for treatment and according to hospital sources. Two injured were reported to be in a critical condition.
The police took the bus into custody and registered a case against the driver and started investigation.
