Taliban injure 3 FC troopers in Bajaur cross-border attack

Three Frontier Corps (FC) officials were injured in a Taliban cross-border attack on a border checkpost in Bajaur Agency on Monday.

A Khar political administration official, while confirming the attack on the post in Ghakhi, said that militants from the Afghan province of Kunar fired on the FC officials, injuring three of them.

TTP spokesperson Shahidullah Shahid has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Bajaur Agency shares border with the eastern Afghan province of Kunar where militants have hideouts, and have frequently attacked Pakistani border posts in the tribal area.
