Young PPP chairman vows to serve poor masses, fight terrorism, promote Bhuttoism

Lashes out at PML-N, PTI, MQM; says PPP will rescue people from grip of anti-democracy forces

Takes a jibe at Imran Khan, says ‘lion is hunted with an arrow, not a bat’

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Saturday showed its fresh and youthful face to Pakistan at Bagh-e-Jinnah with the formal launch of its young chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the political arena.

Taking a selfie before commencing his address to a mammoth crowd of PPP supporters, Bilawal chanted party slogans in favour of his slain mother Benazir Bhutto, PPP and its founder Zulfikar Bhutto during the speech and reiterated that “Bhuttoism” was the solution to various problems faced by Pakistan.

While his father, PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari stuck to his reconciliation-driven attitude by asking his political opponents to adopt a forward-looking approach, Bilawal threw punches at all rival parties; lambasting the “real heirs” of General Zia , the agitating “puppets” dancing to the tunes of “umpire’s finger”, the suo motu fame “political dajjal” and judicial mafia, the worshippers of dictators, the “showbazi” uplift schemes in Punjab, the lion” humbled as a “cat” by US Vice President Joe Biden in Washington, friends of terrorists in Southern Punjab and the “new Sindhis” who always keep crying of oppression.

“Zulfiqar and Benazir Bhutto always struggled for the rights of common man despite threats and opposition and there was no room for ‘cowards’ in the PPP,” said Bilawal.

“On one side there are Bhuttoists, and on the other side there are those who dance on the instructions of a third umpire,” he said, adding that there was no hope for Pakistan without PPP.

Bilawal questioned former dictator Pervez Musharraf’s statement regarding the ending time of Benazir’s rally on October 18, 2008.

“How did Musharraf know that the rally will end before midnight?” he asked, hinting that Musharraf was responsible for the attack on Benazir’s caravan.

Bilawal claimed that PPP would win back Karachi from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in 2018 elections.

Calling for an end to violence in Karachi, Bilawal said, “Only PPP is fighting for the peace of Karachi.”

BILAWAL SPEAKS FOR PAKISTAN:

Bilawal raised his voice for the rights of suppressed people of Balochistan and said that the “real revolution” is coming there.

“Sui gas–which is the natural fuel used all over Pakistan– is now finally being provided to the people of Sui as well.”

“Anyone talking about rights of the Balochs would have been killed with F-16s like Akbar Bugti was, if it were not for Bhuttoism,” said Bilawal.

Reiterating that Kashmir would become part of Pakistan, Bilawal said he wanted the people of Kashmir to decide their own fate as per the United Nations resolution.

“I too want peace in Kashmir. We will not hold Kashmir hostage to the peace process but we want the people of Kashmir to decide,” he said, adding that when a Bhutto speaks for Kashmir, India has no answer for it.

PTI, PAT BASHING:

Bilawal lashed out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) for staging sit-ins when the country is at war.

“If you are afraid of the Taliban, at least go and assist the rehabilitation of the internally displaced persons (IDPs),” as he urged the protesters to help the troops.

Censuring PTI’s claims to end corruption in 90 days and make a ‘Naya Pakistan,’ Bilawal said, “You could not even make a new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).”

“There are irregularities in every election. Any rigging in Balochistan or KP was actually against PPP. But we did not become part of any movement,” said Bilawal, alleging that PTI wanted to become the MQM of Lahore.

BHUTTOISM VS ZIA-ISM:

“Bhuttoism is the only way to save the country and prevent a civil war,” said Bilawal as he lashed out at the PM and Punjab CM’s response to the anti-government protests and sit-ins.

Criticising the PM for utilising all state resources to curb the anti-government sit-ins, Bilawal said that the incumbent government was infused with the spirit of former dictator Ziaul Haq and urged the Nawaz-led government to adopt Bhuttoism.

“There are rumors of a script because the government is helpless and people are protesting,” said Bilawal, clarifying that the script was in fact the “same old anti-democratic script” aimed at giving Nawaz a fake mandate and making “Puppet Khan” an opposition leader”.

“PM, Punjab CM, you have the government, your own judges, the officials are in your pocket, so why can you not deliver? The farmer of central Punjab is hungry, industries are closed, kidnappings are common, police is the enemy of the people, Gullu Butts are everywhere.”

Inviting the PM to work for peace and progress in Sindh and give South Punjab its rights, Bilawal said, “Sindh police is fighting the terrorists in Karachi but they have safe havens in South Punjab.”

“How can you manage Punjab when you are unable to manage Lahore?” he questioned the Punjab CM.

Bilawal said Shahbaz Sharif was responsible for the deaths of 14 people killed during the clashes in Model Town, Lahore.

Speaking about PPP’s development schemes, Bilawal said that PPP did not create hype about an ordinary bus by terming it the metro bus.

“To hunt a lion, you use an arrow, not a bat,” the PPP chairman said.

“We will hold a convention of PPP in Bilawal House Lahore on November 30. We will hear what everyone has to say about the re-organisation of PPP. You will talk and we will listen,” he told party workers.

OF POLITICS OF RECONCILIATION:

Earlier, speaking at the rally, PPP Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari said that there was no dearth of resources in Pakistan but joint efforts of all political powers were required to drag the country of the prevalent crisis.

“PPP has promoted politics of reconciliation despite criticism and opposition,” he said.

Taking a swipe at the anti-government protesting parties staging sit-ins in Islamabad, he said, “Who is financing such big gatherings? Where is the money coming from?”

He also criticised former PPP leader Amir Dogar–the winning candidate of NA-149 by-polls in Multan – for taking PTI’s support during the polls and later joining PTI.

However, he added, “I do not want to talk about the past… I want to focus on the future.”

“We have to work with the judiciary, establishment and MQM leader Hussain,” said Zardari.

“If all political parties stand together, we will not need to beg anyone for funds,” he said.

  1. What to talk about rest of the Pakistan, my questions are just about Sind only :- How many schools, colleges & universities were inaugrated in Sind during the tenure of PPP which can be compared with the schools Bilawal, or Benazir attended ? How many functioning hospitals are in Sind ? How many new roads have been constructed ? How many railroad tracks have been laid ? Liari which always supported PPP has how many schools, colleges, and hospitals ? Is it not true ZAB imposed martial law on Pakistan ? If ZAB respected democracy then why he did not accept Mujeeb's 6 points, after all Mujeeb had won the majority in Pakistan. Was there any freedom of speech during the times of ZAB ? Why PPP has not brought the killers of Murtuza Bhutto (Bilawal's uncle) to justice ? After all he was killed in broad day light in Karachi. PPP was ruling at that time. Why during the last tenure of PPP the killers of Bilawal's mother were never caught ? There are many other questions, but this is enough for now. I do not know if PT will print my questions.

    • the police officer who was responsible for killing Murtaza Bhutto,,…a few month back was working as a karachi police chief, now he is heading CID asDIG.

  2. They have looted Sindh and Pakistan, they should be in prison for treason not making speeches on stage. The PPP doesn't have an honest bone in their bodies. What a bunch of crooks.

  3. This is not a dynasty; Bilawal has no right to leadership of a party or country.
If he truly interested in Pakistan, go out and serve the people and the county; without that Bilawal is not deserving.

  4. BILAWAL IS BHUTTO. YES HE DID NOT LEARN POLITICS FROM HIS GRAND FATHER, BUT HE SAW HIS MOTHER HANDLING AND DEALING WITH IT AND LEARNED POLITICS FROM HIS VERY INTELLIGENT AND SHARP POLITICIAN FATHER , ASIF ALI ZARDARI. ZARDARI HAS TURNED OUT TO BE A VERY SUCCESSFUL POLITICAL LEADER AND USES THE MIXTURE OF BHUTTO POLITICS WITH ZARDARI MANNERISM. BHUTTO POLITICS IS PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN AND ZARDARI POLITICS IS HUMBLENESS AND SOFT APPROACH BUT MAKING SURE THE GOAL IS ACHIEVED. BILAWAL, UNTIL NEXT ELECTIONS PAKISTAN WILL BE WAITING FOR YOUR PARTY'S RESULTS. BHATI GATE & MINAR-I-PAKISTAN IN LAHORE, AND OTHER VENUES WHERE YOUR GRAND FATHER AND MOTHER ADDRESSED THE PEOPLE OF THIS PURE LAND ARE WAITING. GOOD LUCK. JEAHY BHUTTO.

  5. " However i do not want to speak about the past" says the father but the son has said exactly the opposite! Bhuttoisim destroyed Pakistan.
If ZAB had accepted the elections results of 1970 perhaps Pakistan would still in one piece. It was ZAB who created minorities in Pakistan and ZIA only finished the task. Bhuttoisim main goal—end justifies the means. Did Benazir not do the same with now vilified Musharraf?
