PTI chief tells young PPP chief to disclose own assets, ask Zardari and PM to reveal theirs

Laughing away Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s scathing criticism of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan has said that Bilawal is a novice in politics and it would be better if he struggles to become a leader rather than using shortcuts to achieve the goal.

Addressing his party supporters at Islamabad’s D-Chowk, Khan said if Bilawal wants to become a leader he should first demand disclosure of all foreign assets of his father, former president Asif Zardari, and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

“Zardari will lose his sleep if Bilawal demands to know the exact wealth of his father. Even Bilawal should disclose his assets to show he’s a true leader,” Khan said, adding that PPP has tried to copy PTI’s style of public rallies but had done so with public money.

“People from across Sindh were forcibly brought to the rally to show PPP’s strength,” he claimed.

Maryam thinks rallies are a waste of time:

Reacting to Bilawal Bhutto’s speech, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz says that political rallies are a waste of time.

“A glut of jalsas. Time to stop wasting nation’s time & do something productive. Please,” Maryam said on microblogging website, twitter.

Shireen finds no passion in speech:

On the other hand, PTI’s Central Information Secretary Shireen Mazari said Bilawal’s speech lacked passion.

“Someone shd have coached him better – it is comic but sad. From ZAB to BBZ – from passion to farce! No wonder only 6k votes in Multan!” she tweeted.

Saad not impressed:

Federal Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique said that Bilawal Bhutto’s speech lacked substance.

“Bilawal’s speech was based on rhetoric and hollow claims,” he said in a statement.
