At least five people were killed in an incident of firing near Punjab’s Sargodha town, a local news channel reported Thursday.
According to police and rescue officials, the incident took place near Momin Abad area where unknown attackers fired shots on a car carrying five people.
Police said all the persons on-board were killed, adding that they were heading to Bhalwal town to appear in a local court.
Bodies of the victims, who could not be identified immediately, were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police said old enmity could be a reason behind the attack.
