Allottees of sector G-13 in federal capital have voiced strong protest over non-completion of development work in the sector by Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) despite a lapse of 18 years.
Even the plots in G-13 Markaz have not been auctioned so far nor have 90 percent parks of this sector been constructed. No sanitation system is in place in this sector. FGEHF and CDA are shifting responsibility on each other of this negligence and on the other hand the residents of the sector are perturbed over lack of sanitation arrangements.
Houses have been constructed on 50 percent residential plots but the development work is still incomplete. Roads which were built 10 years before have been washed out. Street light work stands suspended since the last several years due to litigation. Drinking water is supplied after eight day and no new tube wells have been installed despite promises.
Service road of the sector has been closed down by erecting barrier which is causing difficulties for the residents. Files of the plots are held by FGEHF while map is approved by CDA. The houses are being transferred by showing them plots in the map and this way heavy financial loss is being caused to national exchequer.
The residents complained that no civic amenity has been provided nor the sector has been fully developed but property tax notices have been sent by CDA.
The residents demanded that sector be either handed over to CDA or it should be run by FGEHF.
