Rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s statement on power supply suspension in Qasim Bagh Stadium during a public gathering in Multan, the Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has said that uninterrupted power was supplied in the stadium during the PTI’s gathering through 11-KV Eid Gah feeder and there was no tripping even for a minute.

In a MEPCO handout, the company’s spokesman said Sunday that it could be verified by the computerised record from National Power Control Centre Islamabad, Regional Control Centre Jamshoro and Power Distribution Centre MEPCO. He said an extra transformer trolley was also provided which had no links with running system of electricity. He added that transformer could not be separated during running supply of electricity.

The spokesman said floodlights of the stadium were continuously switched on during and after the procession.
