As many as four people were killed and five other injured in different mishaps in the city on Thursday.
The bodies of two young men were found at Northern Bypass. The victims were later identified as Inayat, 22, son of Syed Ahmed Shah, and Shamsul Arifeen, 22, son of Muhammad Arif. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for autopsy.
A Sub-Inspector, Haider Bhatti, was killed by unknown armed men in Katti Pahari area. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities.
Separately, unidentified man died in a road accident and five others injured in Habib Bank Flyover, SITE area. The injured included Muhammad Iqbal, 45, Dr Shafique, 68, and Azam Bhai, 45. The body and the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK).
