As many as four people were killed and five others injured in different incidents of violence in the metropolis on Monday.
According to rescue sources, Zeeshan, 32, and Saqib, were killed and their cousin, Faisal, was injured in firing by unidentified armed men near Samanabad FB Area.
The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for autopsies. The motive behind target killings could not be ascertained. The body of unknown person was found in Ittehad Town, Baldia. It was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities.
In another incident, Farooq Shah, 28, son of Shah Muhammad Khan, was shot and injured by unknown armed men over a personal dispute in Allah Wala Market Baloch Goth, Orangi Town. He received injuries on his leg and was taken to ASH for treatment.
In yet another incident, an unknown person, 25, was injured when unknown armed men opened fire in Baldia Town. He was rushed to Aga Khan Hospital for treatment. The identity and motive behind attack could not be ascertained.
Separately, Amin, 30, son of Najaf, was critically injured in a firing incident near Meetha Chowrangi, Korangi. According to rescue sources, unknown armed men opened fire at him. He was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment.
Moreover, Shehan Shah, 21, son of Shafigul, was shot and injured by unknown armed men near Sher Muhammad Village Maripur. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment. Faizan, 25, residence of Korangi, was injured by unknown gunned man. The injured was rushed to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment.
