Construction work of NewIslamabadAirport has been delayed for one more year.
According to details, despite of deadline by Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif construction work of New Islamabad international airport has been haunted by negligence and slow pace of work of National Highway Authority and lack of attention by Civil Aviation Authority due to which it has been delayed till year 2016.
Civil Aviation Authority has pointed out eight officers involved in corruption in airport construction work and asked ministry of interior to make cases against them.
