NA speakers speaks highly of Pak-Bahrain relations

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has underlined the need to strengthen the existing relations between Pakistan and Bahrain through enhancing parliamentary interaction. He said that regular interaction between executive, parliamentary and business community would cement the existing bonds.

The speaker was talking to Ambassador of Kingdom of Bahrain Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed Abdul Qader in Parliament House Wednesday, said a press release. He said that the friendship between the two brotherly countries is time-tested and masses are intertwined in bonds of religion, history and culture.

There is ample potential for expansion of mutual cooperation between both the countries which should be explored for mutual benefit, he added.

The speaker stressed the need for enhancing parliamentary ties and exchange of parliamentary delegations between the two countries. He said that reciprocal visits by the two countries’ lawmakers would serve the interests of the Pakistani and Bahraini nations.

Appreciating the warm hospitality and affection extended by King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Prime Minister, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier, Speaker Representatives Council and other dignitaries during his recent successful visit to Bahrain, he informed the ambassador that this visit has yielded positive and fruitful results that bolstered fraternal relations and expanded joint cooperation.
