A U.S drone strike in Datta Khel town of North Waziristan Tuesday killed at least eight people, security sources said Wednesday.
According to reports, a U.S. drone fired missiles at a compound and a vehicle in Alwara Mandi area of Dattakhel, killing at least eight people.
Among those dead, two were said to be Uzbek militants, according to a report by a foreign news agency.
The last drone strike on August 6, 2014 had also targeted a compound in the same area. Seven people were killed in the attack.
