All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) chief and former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf said on Sunday that the present government had failed miserably and the government writ was not visible anywhere.

Talking to the APML secretary general Dr Amjad, Musharraf said the so-called democratic parties and their leaders called the longest session of the parliament, but the concluding speech of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was extremely disappointing which lacked any programme for the future.

The APML chief said the parliament session didn’t come out with any solution to the ongoing political crisis in the country. During the whole session, he said Nawaz Sharif continued praising the PPP while the later returned the favours to the prime minister.

Musharraf said Nawaz Sharif and his aides were facing immense frustration after failing to intimidate him through fake cases. He said those who were disturbing him so far would soon face the same trouble. He said the political parties called the parliament session for a purpose but all of them took a U-turn after many days of the session. He said the purpose of the parliament session was to find a solution to the political crisis but the government and the opposition were seen saving each other during the whole episode.

The APML chief said the country faced instability whenever Nawaz Sharif came to power. He said the vision of a person who had become prime minister for third time was before the nation.

He lamented that the educational institutions of Islamabad were closed for the last one month and police were occupying these buildings. He said the community centres which were meant for helping the poor were also occupied by the police.

Musharraf said the country needed a national government having positive thinking and vision. He said people having neat and clean character should be included in the national government.

  2. hang the traitors like nawaz and zaradaris and then we can move forward. make example out of these tratiors. bring all the money they stole only the politicians would fear the system. the army is desperately needed back. im starting to think raheel shareef is soft, otherwise if it was mushaaraf, the whole nawaz gig of fake democracy would of been over long time ago.. the people have spoken. we need our pakistan back. imran, musharraf and qadri need to stick together. the fakes have also found their alliances, im hoping the victory shall be on the side of the righteous leaders.

    • Well everyone in the army is not Musharraf, his caliber and courage to tackle problems headon is not everyones cup of tea.Im beginning to wonder if Raheel Sharif is really going to remain silent over rigged elections, murders, protests, dissatisfaction, collapsed economy, bad governance ect,The People of Pakistan have spoken and its the armys duty to save Pakistan not only from external threats but internal threats as well. The disciplined army can surely ensure that justice is given to the grieved parties, electoral reforms are made and a smooth transition of power to the elected party after a genuine election does take place. How long is the army going to continue to neglect its duty to the people of Pakistan. The judiciary has badly let us down and we hope that the Army will not let us down.

  8. Hi Musharaf sb,
I really appreciate your efforts and daring style. we know that these politicians are always used to work for their businesses. just see how they are going to the flood areas when they assumed that the elections are just ahead again. where were they before? I still remember your time. it was a good time in all aspects. although u could have done a lot more like kala bagh dam etc.
they have no brain so as no vision and without vision one can imagine where it will lead to.
wish you luck and thanks for serving/ leading us though it was small but sweet and secure. I wish you rule again with a broader vision and more courage, passion, sincerity, and devotion for the nation. with zero tolerance for these corrupt politicians as they must be vanished from the system. Regards/ Usman/ Islamabad
