Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday directed authorities to quash cases against 650 workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) arrested over violation of Section-144 in Islamabad, a private news channel reported.
Chief Justice IHC, Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi, issued the orders while hearing a case.
He, however, observed during the hearing that no one should be allowed to take steps above the law.
