Army rescued 41,115 flood victims in ten days: ISPR

Pakistan Army has rescued 41,115 flood victims while 127.7 tonnes of ration has been distributed during the relief operation.
According to ISPR, rescue efforts continue in Uch Sharif, Muzaffargarh and Multan areas.
Since the start of its relief operation, 4,286 patients have been treated in 18 medical camps established by the army.
According to a press release of the Air Force, six helicopters of Pakistan Air Force are carrying out rescue operations in flood affected areas in Punjab. The helicopters have rescued hundreds of people stranded in low lying areas.
More than 25,000 kilogrammes of dry ration, including flour, rice, pulses, dates, biscuits and mineral water have also been distributed among the flood affected people through these helicopters.
A Crisis Control Cell has been established at Air Headquarters Islamabad to monitor the rescue activities.
