  • Boys bag top two positions but girls secure higher pass percentage in HSSC Annual Exams 2014
  • Total pass percentage remains 47.87 pc

Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) Friday announced the result of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) FA/FSc Annual Examination 2014.

As many as 60,308 candidates appeared in the exam out of whom 28,355 were declared successful, with total percentage of 47.87 percentage.

Of the total number of students who took the exams, 26,284 were male while 34,024 were female candidates.

Pass percentage of male students remained 42.82 while 51.7 was the pass percentage of female students.

In FA/FSc exams, out of overall three top positions, two male students from Punjab College of Information Technology, Rawalpindi got first and second positions with 1,024 and 1,014 marks while a female student from Punjab College for Girls, Chakwal bagged the third position with 1,010 marks.

Muhammad Nashit Khurshid son of Khurshid Ahmed, Roll no 746623 of Pre-medical Group bagged the first position with 1,024 marks.

Talha Shakeel son of Qazi Shakeelur Rehman, Roll no 746956 of Pre-Medical Group stood second with 1,014 marks while Rida Nawaz daughter of Rab Nawaz, Roll No 710400 of Pre-Medical Group got third position with 1,010 marks.

Out of the boys in the humanities group, Muhammad Farhan Saeed son of Saeed Ahmed, Roll no 715316 and student of Government Postgraduate College, Chakwal got first position with 881 marks. Usama Noor son of Mulazim Hussain, Roll no 713673, student of Government Higher Secondary School Padshahan (Chakwal) stood second with 872 marks while Muhammad Hasnain Mehmood son of Mehmood Ayaz, Roll No 756004, student of Professor Muhammad Shamim Government College of Commerce Kahuta District Rawalpindi bagged third position with 854 marks.

Out of the girls in the humanities group, Toheed Bibi daughter of Azmat Ali, Roll No 701487, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Shadi Khan, Attock got first position with 904 marks. Aamna Firdous daughter of Muhammad Zubair, Roll No 719243, Government College for Women, Jhelum stood second with 900 marks while Noshaba Mushtaq daughter of Mushtaq Ahmed, Roll no 747054, Government Viqarun Nisa Post Graduate College for Women, Rawalpindi got third position.

PRIVATE CANDIDATES:

Total enrolled students for HSSC exams (private candidates) were 26,359 while 25,273 candidates appeared in the examinations. 7,620 remained successful and 17,064 were declared unsuccessful. Pass percentage of private students remained 30.17.

Out of the total number of students, 755 got A-1 grade, 2,335 got A grade, 6,389 students were declared successful in B grade while 11,182 students were awarded C grade.

Total 30,161 students remained unsuccessful while 1,017 failed to appear in the examinations.
