ISLAMABAD-
Fighter jets of Pakistan Military pounded militant hideouts in Dattakhel Tehsil of North Waziristan, killing at least 35 suspected terrorists, according to a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The three targeted hideouts were also completely destroyed.
A military operation named ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ was launched in June to wipe out local and foreign militants from the restive tribal area of North Waziristan.
Until now, more than 1000 terrorists have been killed in aerial strikes and ground operations.
