First Hajj flight leaves for Jeddah

The first Hajj flight carrying more than 300 intending pilgrims left from Karachi for Jeddah on Thursday morning.

PIA Managing Director Shahnawaz Rehman, Director Airport Services Aijaz Mazhar and senior officials saw off the pilgrims.

According to spokesperson of PIA, the national carrier would be carrying around 54,000 intending Hajj pilgrims to the holy land. Out of which 43,000 pilgrims will be carried by 112 Hajj flights and 11,000 through schedule flights from all over Pakistan.
