Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Pervez Khattak Sunday took strong notice of an armed clash between two rival groups over a property dispute in PS Domail in Bannu wherein three people including a police official were killed and has summoned an enquiry report immediately.

Expressing concern over the incident, Khattak directed the district and police administration to reach the site of the incident. He said armed clash between two rival groups speaks of a grain of lethargy on part of authorities concerned, adding that the every matter would be ascertained and disciplinary action would be taken in larger public interest.

The Chief Minister said that Bannu local authorities had to shoulder the dual responsibility of safeguarding the life, property and honor of one million locals and the internally displaced persons from North Waziristan. “The KP government has taken all possible measures to provide the authorities with required human and financial support,” he said.

He further clarified that his government would take serious notice of every such incident in sensitive districts including Bannu.
