Pakistan turning into Ukraine

PTI was founded to follow the example of Quaid-e-Azam to engage in a constitutional struggle to reform Pakistan. But now it seems IK is departing from that principle. Today in his speech he is saying they will storm the Parliament and PM House. This is recipe for disaster.

The exact same situation happened in Ukraine when a celebrity, a boxer, led a group of people to protest against corruption of the sitting government. Their peaceful protest turned violent after the intervention by foreign elements and pushed Ukraine into the civil war. IK’s today’s speech is pushing Pakistan towards that same path. Yesterday CM KP made ethnically laced speech which was followed by other ethnically laced speeches.

We are heading for a disaster. The PTI leadership is now overboard and departed from their principled position. Dharna has to end soon with a deal to introduce electoral reforms or else situation will go out of hand.

May God bless us all and save us from egocentric leaders that come in all shapes and sizes and from all segments of our society!

  1. in 2014 Islamic Republic Of Pakistan with populations more then 200-hundred millions the 5th largest country in the world 70 percent of them are in extreme poverty, maybe more then 50 percent iletrate, no food for babies in many parts, no healtrh care, no water, no electricty, no trains, pia out of service, no steel mils, wrong education policies, & of course no work for peoples, no Justice, what is wrong with Ir Pakistan? may we need change? Sir think honestly

  2. The writer is biased against PTI. It is not the PTI but PML (N) responsible for this crisis. Imran Khan has stood against the corrupt and immoral, illegal regime, which stole the general elections with massive rigging.

His stand is principled, and we must support him . We can not let the rigging go and sweep all the problems under the rug. The comparison with Ukraine is misleading and based on ignorance of the current situation. Khan and Dr, Qadri are right. They are fighting the people's war against a cruel and callous government. It is just matter of understanding the situation.

Politics is not everybody's cup of tea. We must not mislead people on national issue. After the resolution of this Crisis Pakistan will emerge as a stronger Country.

  3. While I do not believe the comparison is particularly relevant, I do agree that IK has lost the plot, ego has taken centre stage & this is / was never the ideology of PTI. I support PTI but its looking more & more like PAT by the day. May Allah protect us from Qadri & his likes…
