A man died and another injured in a road accident near Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Bridge on Friday.
According to rescue sources, an unknown man, aged 30, died while another man, aged 22, was seriously injured in a vehicle crush and shifted to civil hospital for initial treatment.
Meanwhile, another man was injured in a firing incident at Korangi Crossing near Shamim Masjid. Salman, 30, son of Anees, received bullet injuries when an unknown armed man fired shots at him. He was shifted to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center.
In another incident, Zahid Khan, 35, son of Mehboob Ali, died after receiving fatal electric shocks near Bilal Masjid, Defense Phase IV. Later, the body was shifted to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center.
Moreover, a dead body of an unknown drug-addict, aged 30, was recovered near Rexar Old Golimar Bridge. It was shifted to the morgue.
Meanwhile, a man was killed and another injured in a collision between a motorcycle and truck on National Highway near Jharak on Thursday evening.
The collision took life of one Waris Qureshi, a picnicker, and injured his companion. According to details, the tragic incident occurred 50 km away from Thatta in the jurisdiction of Jharak police station. The truck driver fled scene. Meanwhile, police started initial investigation.
