Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Nasir Khan Durrani has dismissed Rural Mardan Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Abdus Samad Khan from service with immediate effect in light of a departmental enquiry report against Salam, stated a press release issued from KP Central Police Office (CPO) on Tuesday.

Per details, a few days back the IGP had suspended the DSP on charges of being in league with out-laws involved in stealing cars, callous attitude towards duties and failure to take action against militants and had ordered a departmental enquiry against him.

The DIG Enquiry and Inspection conducted the departmental enquiry against the suspended DSP and reportedly termed all the allegations against the DSP correct, following which the IGP dismissed the DSP.
