At least seven persons including two terrorists were killed and several others injured in various incidents of violence in different localities of Karachi on Tuesday.
The police on a tip-off launched crackdown in Janjal Goth at Super Highway during which two terrorist belonging to a banned organisation were killed. Arms were recovered from the possession of accused killed in operation. A wanted target killer identified as Mula Nadir was killed in exchange of fire with Rangers in Daryaabad area of Lyari. In another incident, police said that armed men of two rival groups hailing from Labour Square Landhi traded fire. In cross fire, four persons were killed while another sustained wounds. Firing incidents continued Tuesday in the city during which more than 15 persons sustained injured who were shifted to different hospitals of concerned areas. The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) arrested 52 suspects in a search operation in Afghan Basti. Arms and drugs were recovered from the arrested persons.
