Capital Development Authority (CDA) has resumed work on Park Enclave Housing Society after a break of three years.

A CDA official reportedly said that a construction firm has mobilised its machinery at the site after having an agreement with the authority to carry work for development of infrastructure in Park Enclave Housing Society.

Rs500 million have been allocated for the development of housing scheme during the current fiscal year.

The CDA official said the project would be completed in one year with cost of Rs.1.26 billion. The official added that the project includes the construction of major roads, service roads, streets, footpaths, drainage system, water supply lines with complete water supply system, sewerage system, construction of bridges and culverts and electrification work.

The development work also includes construction of main entry gate and security check posts and landscaping of the housing project.

The boundary wall around the housing project has been completed.

It is pertinent to mention here that during a meeting last month, CDA Chairman Maroof Afzal directed the authority to start development work in Park Enclave without further delay so that the plot allottees could be given possession of their land.
