Two robbers were killed and another managed to flee after exchange of fire with police on Monday.
The Malir SSP said that police approached a gang of robbers who were fleeing after committing a robbery in Steel Town of Karachi. On seeing the police, the robbers started firing and tried to escape from the scene which led to exchange of fire.
In retaliatory firing, the SSP said, two robbers were killed on the spot while their one cohort managed to flee. Police recovered two snatched motorcycles, arms and other looted valuables from the possession of the robbers.
