A protestor was shot at by unknown armed man outside the Karachi Press Club (KCB) on Saturday.
Habib, 31, was among the fishermen who were protesting over the ban on fishing along the city beaches when a man in black car fired the shot.
Fisher Folk Forum Chairman Muhammad Ali Shah said they were protesting peacefully when a man stepped out of his car and shot at one of their fishermen.
The motive behind target remained unknown. However, in response to a question, raised by the PPI, Muhammad Ali Shah remarked that he suspected nobody but he had concerns over the issue.
Soon after the incident, a police van approached the crime spot and arrested the assailant, seized his gun and took him to unknown location for further investigation.
