A bomb weighing 8 kilogrammes planted on the railway track near Fazilpur was defused on Wednesday, foiling a terror bid.
Police said that the remotely-controlled bomb was planted on a railway track near Fazilpur, which was defused by the bomb disposal unit before it could cause any disaster.
Khushhal Khan Khattak Express which was on way from Peshawar to Karachi was stopped at Jampur after the bomb was detected.
Police have started a search operation in the area.
