One Sikh killed, two critically injured in Peshawar attack

Two unidentified men opened fire on three members of the Sikh community in Peshawar on Wednesday, killing one and injuring the others, a private news channel reported.

According to the report, attackers opened fire on the men around 10am in Shabab Market of Hashtnagri area of Peshawar.

The deceased victim was identified as Jagmot Singh while the injured, reported to be in a critical condition , were identified as Manmit Singh and Param Singh.

They were taken to Lady Reading Hospital for medical treatment.

Sikh community gathered at the hospital to protest against the incident and family members of the victims blocked GT Road near FC Headquarters Balahisar Fort, placing Jagmot’s body on the road to protest against the attack.
