‘PPP govt pursuing Bhutto’s vision’

KARACHI – The present PPP government pursuing the vision of the party’s founder and former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, said provincial government’s Media Coordinator Taj Haider.
He said this while addressing the people during his visit to Garhi Khuda Bux, where he offered fateha at the graves of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto and other family members of the Bhutto family.
According to an official handout issued on Monday, paying rich tributes to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his 32nd death anniversary, which was celebrated in a respectable manner at Garhi Khuda Bux and President House Naudero, Haider said the government is following the vision of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who was a great leader of the world.
“The name of Shaheed Bhutto is in the hearts of the people of the country and as a result millions of people have participated in his death anniversary from all over the country,” he said, reiterating that the PPP will follow in his footsteps and the commitments of Shaheed Bhutto will be fulfilled under the vision of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto as ‘we are serving the people without any discrimination.’
While visiting the camp established in the mausoleum premises by the PPP-Karachi Division, Haider was welcomed and briefed by the PPP leaders on the huge participation from the people of Karachi in the death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
The PPP-Sindh secretary general also visited the medical camp established by the Larkana district government’s Health Department, where EDO Health Services Dr Abdul Fattah Bhughio told him that medicines, paramedic staff and mobile medical teams were constantly available for providing free treatment to the patients, with a separate first-aid facility available in the camp.
Bhughio said that Larkana was declared polio-free district and anti-polio drops were administered to around 275,000 children under the age of 5 years during polio vaccination campaign.
Appreciating the efforts of EDO Health, Haider lauded his efforts and his team for providing free medical treatment to the ailing citizens.
Haider also visited another medical camp set up by the People’s Doctors Forum.
The Sindh government’s media coordinator was accompanied by PPP leaders Dr Tehseem Sheikh, Manzoor Ahmed Badayoni, Syed Haider Ali and Akhtar Mirza.
