Daniyal Tanvir, the young heart patient passed away on Monday a day after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former cricketer Imran Khan showed up to meet him at his home on the young boy’s request.
Daniyal, resident of Tajpur Lahore was diagnosed with a heart condition a year ago and was awaiting financial assistance for his surgery.
Upon his request, Khan met him on Sunday and donated money for his treatment.
Daniyal’s parents had appealed to CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif and general public on national media for further financial and technical assistance for his treatment.
This is sad. Very sad. I think the government must devote money and energy to education and health-care in a big way.
i am speechless and feeling ashamed that why can't we do anything against this stupid government and these idiots who spend millions on sports festivalS and other stupid activities but they did not bother and felt their responsibility to save the life of this kid.. as a nation we should be ashamed for this
